Jan-Venter Van Den Berg serves as both the strategic and operational head of ProFrag Mining Services, driving the company’s long-term growth, execution standards, and client relationships.
With over 13 years of frontline experience in drilling and blasting, Jan-Venter combines technical expertise with leadership agility, ensuring seamless delivery across all project phases.
Starting his career as a licensed Blaster, he progressed to Production Manager and now leads the business as Managing and Operations Director. His leadership is grounded in practical experience, safety-first execution, and results-driven performance. He remains deeply involved in field operations, fleet coordination, and compliance oversight, ensuring every project meets ProFrag’s reputation for precision and professionalism.

Qualifications: Blasting Certificate for Open Cast Mines, Advanced Surface Blasting Technician, Technical Report Writing, and Certified Assessor.
Marius van Niekerk is a senior blasting professional with over 25 years’ experience in the mining and explosives industry.
Having held leadership roles at BME, AEL, Plantcor Mining, and Andru Mining, Marius brings deep technical proficiency in drill and blast operations, explosives logistics, site management, and compliance. His project experience spans South Africa, Zambia, and Tanzania.
